R Family Vacations' Ogunquit Tips!
It was love at first sight. Last winter, my wife and I were looking for a two day escape from home, so I began researching properties that were driving distance away. A friend strongly recommended the adorable town of Ogunquit and the newly renovated Cliff House Resort. The pictures online looked stunning; however, upon stepping foot into the sweeping cliff views in the lobby, I realized the photos did not do it justice.
My first trip to the Cliff House was in the dead of winter, so not much of Ogunquit was open. This allowed us to fully indulge in the resort and the experiences there. Our room had a gorgeous water view where you can see the powerful ocean smashing against the cliffs. We booked a couples massage in the peaceful, serene spa and took full advantage of the stunning hot tub that overlooks the ocean.
We recently returned from our second trip to the Cliff House where we brought a group of R Family guests to share in this experience. It was wonderful to see each one of them share in beauty of this property. Plus, we were able to explore the adorable town of Ogunquit as all of it was open for business during the Fall.
